    I believe it’s a GP40-2

    According to google, it was damaged at some point, and has now been released after a long rebuild process.

    yeah.. it was a long process for ONT 2201. This locomotive is a GP40-2.. some one has posted a photo of the Hood of 2201 after the wreck. http://www.railpictures.ca/upload/wrecked-in-august-2011-2201-lives-on-in-the-form-of-several-cut-up-parts-in-gondolas-and-on-flat-cars-at-ontario-northlands-north-bay-shops

    When I first saw it, I thought it was a GP 38-2
