In the late 1950's, Canadian National used gas electric "doodlebugs" between London and Sarnia on occasion. Here we see CN 15836 at Sarnia station with a baggage car visible behind, under the overhead catenary wires for the St. Clair tunnel operation.

  1. Very nice Bill. This just may happen again, rumours of an RDC comeback to Sarnia in the near future.

    The Station has all been fixed up, interior work is nearly done.. a political announcement is soon to follow.
