The former Dofasco 6, a 65-ton Whitcomb centre-cab switcher, is seen stored at CN's Fort Erie yard on April 30th 1987.

According to Ray Kennedy's Old Time Trains page, this unit was one of six ex-US Army Whitcomb 65-ton switchers acquired after World War Two for switching Dofasco's internal trackage at their Hamilton plant. The last operable unit, it suffered an engine failure and was stored out of service in 1969. It was eventually moved to CN's Fort Erie yards where it was stored for many years earmarked for preservation, but ultimately destroyed by arson.
