GMTX 223 sits coupled to a dimensional load from Trenergy Plant in St. Catharines Ontario. The 223 is the latest face of the Trillium Railway as they begin to turn to a more reliable motive power source over their ailing ALCOs. 223 will be returning to the GMTX with a new unit, GMTX 333 now on the Trillium property.

  1. Honestly, This is why I’ve been moving away from Trillium. I hope to railfan it once more but. It’s so out of my way and I don’t know the times for them. So if I were to go out I’d tag up with someone who knows there times and/or has a scanner.

  2. When you live in Niagara, seeing 1859 is like seeing a gevo on CN lol. It’s nice to see a little colour down here.

  3. Bring on 333!

  4. I’d rather see 1859….. these new locomotives do nothing for me.

I’m Glad I spent time on Trillium in the ALCO era.

  5. Lucky you. I caught 1859 yesterday trying to catch this guy. Nice catch!
