HLCX 4201 (Ex-Amtrak) leads a CP freight through Clifton hill in the summer of '97 or '98. My train obsession started when I was a young child, and my dad was very supportive of it. He always made sure to document some sort of railroad-related activity on our family vacations. The company which he recently retired from actually produced the signs for Ripley's, which is probably why he took this photo (two birds with one stone).

  1. Nice :)

  2. How much this area has changed since then. I remember the tracks being there before getting ripped up. thanks for sharing !

  3. Awesome Delic!

  4. Wow. It would be amazing if the tracks were ever put back in, with an elevated guideway with a dragon or some fancy Clifton Hill decor on the side of it. Take summer GO passengers right into the tourism district. One can dream…

  5. Old Milwaukee 2007! Awesome post!
