Goderich-Exeter's newest kid in town is seen resting in front of Kitchener's VIA/GO station in the early morning hours of May 27th. The SD40 is most likely no stranger to the former CN line through town, after all it started out on CN's roster decades ago before being sold to locomotive rebuilder Alstom, then was leased back to CN and eventually sub lettered for CN's Wisconsin Central. A few years ago it was picked up by GW and assigned to the Quebec Gatineau RR. Motive power issues on the GEXR have caused its relocation.
