  1. I enjoy the guy in the orange chevy doing the universal horn honk motion.

  2. That’s funny. Good eye, I didn’t even notice that!

  3. Q? Brantford dudes….when this thing comes up form Hamilton….is the unit leading short hood forward? if so, where does the power turn – to go down this sub ?

  4. Snake it’s a roll of the dice. My understanding is they don’t turn units for this job – only place to turn them is at Hamilton on the New Gages spur at Parkdale yard. There is a wye at Garnet (old Cayuga sub) but it’s usually stuffed with cars.

The wye at Dofasco is out of service also.

  5. The unit does not get turned, whatever is available in Hamilton in whatever direction it’s facing does the run to/from Brantford. RLHH 2111 ran long hood forward from Hamilton yesterday, so also did the spur long hood forward. They pull down and shove coming back.

  6. Don’t forget the wye in Caledonia gents. When we used to run extras to cycle power to/from Hamilton, we would always wye there if needed, so we would face the right way heading back to Hamilton. Great place to stop for lunch too! I believe the wye at Garnet is out of service as well.
