Merry Christmas to everyone on Railpictures.ca.
In late July 1974 I flew into Calgary for an overnight stay. After renting a car and driving to the CP yard where I received permission to take photos, I headed to the diesel shop. CP 10 (CLC DT-2) was moving CP 4057 (CLC CPA16-4). Within the space of about two minutes, a door opened up and 4057 was put inside. I was blessed to take this photo, and it is one of my favorites.

  1. Great shot. Any time you could score an FM C-Liner would be great anyway!

  2. Amazing scene with 2 types of rare locomotives!

  3. This is nothing short of amazing. Thank you for sharing.
