Various steam engines sit outside CN's Stratford Shops in 1959, nearing the end of their careers as dieselization on CN was almost complete. Of the units pictured, Mikado 3547 was scrapped in August 1959, Northern 6220 was scrapped July 1961, and Mikado 3257 was scrapped November 1960.
