A matched set of SD70M-2's lead an eastbound CN freight train on track 2, past two GP38-2W and a GP9u pulling outbound Hamilton road switcher train CN 550 west along the Aldershot yard lead. A total of 5 GMD built engines. Train 550 will join the Oakville sub about a mile ahead at CN Snake, after the eastbound freight has cleared. Mainline freight trains with all GMD power are the exception nowadays, though they still dominate in yards and road switching.
