Caption: CN sd70m-2 8819 leads the daily intermodel freight eastbound through Bramalea nearing its destination at BIT obeying its regular speed restriction for this point on the journey traveling no more than 10mph. Note the cranes I managed to capture overhead on either sides of the train working on the platform and parking lot. Progress is being made at Bramalea in terms of platform expansion as well as improvements of the parking lot, bus shelters etc. In a couple years we may see this happening at Mount Pleasant GO as well. Doubt there’s room for a platform expansion at the downtown Brampton GO/VIA station so looks like the passengers getting off there will have to make sure they are in a Bombardier that will open when the train nears the station.
