  1. The lettering “band” on the 2nd unit is higher because later-built SW1200RS had the engine compartment vents located higher. Note the difference between 1243 and 1395 here.

  2. Something I find interesting is that when CN ran 3 of these units together, they might be facing in opposing directions whereas CP usually ran them elephant style.
