In the days before railroad graffiti, a pair of CP MLW C424's in script lettering lead the Starlight eastbound at MP 36.7 of the Oakville Sub. Long gone are the days when CP ran on the Oakville Sub to Canpa. Also gone is the signal bridge with searchlight signals. A third track (track 3) has been installed for Hamilton GO service on the bay side of the tracks. A new signal bridge on the north side of Plains Rd. has LED lighting for tracks 2 and 3 while a signal mast with LED lights has been installed for track 1 (the close track) just out of this view to the right.

  1. Back in the day in railfanning on the Oakville sub you would see more CP activity than CN!
