Hustling westbound for Toronto, three big MLW M's lead by M636 4712 head a CP freight with a healthy string of container-on-flatcar traffic on the head end, approaching Lawson Settlement Rd. east of Brighton. The blue CAST containers were a common sight on CP in the 1980's and 1990's on COFC flats, with the CAST Group being a major Eastern Canada/US-European container line. CP (through their CP Ships operation) would later buy CAST out of bankrupcy in 1995.
