Beautiful afternoon just over 42 years back while on my way West, I stopped to check for railroad action in Thunder Bay. This was when I first learned there is always action around TB !!! CN 1905 and 1913, a pair of GMD-1s, work a cut of cars down by the south end of Port Arthur yard.
The 1905 was sold to National Railway Equipment and the 1913 was rebuilt to CN 1402 in 1989.

  1. Looks like 1913 has a steam generator.

  2. All of the 1900′s were s/g- equipped. Several from Thunder Bay used to spend their winters as depot switchers in Winnipeg.
