Westbound CN freight with CN 5572, 9661 and 9543 with 47 cars in tow is held by a redboard in order that eastbound passenger 'off the hill' with CN 6789 and 4104 clears. Early days of VIA, still lots of power in CN colours to be found. \Freight leader 5572 renumbered to 4772 in 1988. CN 6789 retired by 1989.
