Various power sits on the site of the dismantled roundhouse at Brandon. Buried deep in the lineup are 4 BNSF and predecessor units, just in off a Powder River coal train for the now defunct Brandon Generating Station. The coal is routed via BNSF to Minot thence CP via Portal Estevan Napinka and Souris, ironically passing the long time source for Manitoba Hydro coal at Bienfait just east of Estevan
