CP C424 4204 is shown still in her as-delivered maroon & grey script livery at the Quebec St. yard in London in September 1972. A replacement horn in the current action red paint is a sign that her days in the old script livery are numbered. 4204 was also one of the few units originally delivered with high-mounted headlights (4200-4209) that later had them lowered to the nose.

After retirement in the 90's, CP 4204 was sold to the Ottawa Central Railway, and today survives stored on the Morristown & Erie.
