CCGX 4024 could be getting a reprieve from the fate of most of its siblings in CP's GP9 fleet.
It was seen westbound near CN Aldershot East behind the active locos of a CN mixed freight train on 25 June 2019 at 11:36 EDT. Powering the train were GE's CN 2233, CN 2511, and CN 2598.

  1. IIRC, it was heading to LDS in Sarnia for work (probably a repaint and any prep work required). Cando picked up at least two other ex-CP units: CCGX 4021 & 4022 (both of those ex-CP 8240-series units). Haven’t heard anything on a 4023 yet.

  2. Where is it headed to eventually after it’s work?

  3. Ex-CP 8210, nice catch!
