In connection to my photo of the 7227 waiting for permission to pass through a work area. Here is the reason for the delays at East Edmonton. For several days, to the right and out of sight in this photo, on the road to the diamond they constructed the new crossing. Just like the slow crawl when moving rockets out to the launch pad, the 2 backhoes did the same. You can see the new diamond suspended just below the buckets. I left shortly after this photo, it was a slow process. The 7227 has gone north and home and then 115 passed through going south several minutes before this moment. In the far distance to the left, you can see the red face of a CP engine. I suspect one more train passed through on the way to Fort Sask. before the dismantling of the old crossing began.

  1. First, thanks very much to the person who left a star. Very much appreciated. :-)
There is no train in the photo and mostly a bustle of M. of W. activity, still, it has generated a good number of views by you that are interested, which is great. Thanks guys.
