A view of the Bow River Valley to the Rockies. Apparently there was a small town here (furthest right, by the tracks), that operated the sandstone quarry and then a brick making operation. All of that closed down before WW1, and the place was abandoned. This side of the river is now Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. In 1996, it was still an active ranch, with some crops.
