After abandoning the chase down the Camrose Sub, we returned to Edmonton, where my wife took our son into Superstore. Somehow, I knew this train was on its way so I set up in the then empty strip between N Calgary Trail (I think that is what it was called back then, not Gateway Blvd) and the CPR. Note that the Sun is now out.
This is one of only 2 times that I would see a SOO locomotive. The other was on the BN along Sprague Lake in Washington.
