Goderich-Exeter Railway (GEXR) train 431 is arriving at Kitchener to set-off cars for the local assignments with RLHH SD40-2 3403 and GEXR SD40-2 3394. While this was a daily routine at the time, what is happening in the background in the yard is a sign of changes to come. Crews are busy working on the new module sections that would become the future CN operations centre, when the Guelph Subdivision would revert back to CN operations in less than two months.
