  2. Tim, an absolutely magnificent picture ! How did you manage to arrange dark grey cloud with sunshine on the mountains and heritage livery and train ? Beautiful colours ! In the ‘60’s , took the heritage paint scheme with script writing for granted. Well done and thanks for posting. And now for the lengthy “commute” back to Jasper.

  5. I’ll bet no one currently working in running trades on CP has ever worked on an engine painted in that scheme (excepting 3084 & the covered wagons for RCP). I worked on plenty of them in RS-3s, RS-10s,RS-18s, RS-23s and a few other classics.One I especially recall was train 904 from Windsor ON to London decades ago with 5541 as leader. I was told later it was the last SD-40 in the script paint job.
