On Good Friday in April 1996, my notes indicate that the Galt Subdivision was busy that afternoon. The conductor of the Hamilton Turn is viewed walking back to his train after activating the switch to enter the east siding switch at Wolverton, just west of Ayr. Here, GP9u 8212, C424 4242 and GP9u 8237 will meet eastbound train 510 before continuing westward to London.
