As the late afternoon gloom descends, the "Starlight" makes its daily trip through Burlington on its way from CP's Toronto Yard ("Agincourt") to the TH&B's Aberdeen Yard in Hamilton. Note that the Brant Street crossing tower is still standing. Power is CP Rail GP35 5012, GP30 5000, and PC GP9 7431. Maybe after the train passes, we'll go into the station to warm up and see if Mercer's working this afternoon...

  1. I could be visiting but more than likely, I’d be Days Off, or getting ready to go elsewhere for my shift. Couldn’t hold this station in 1971, merely the midnight shift relief, one day a week.
