Pinafore Park RR 0-4-0 saddle tank engines #1 and #2 at the engine shed in Pinafore Park, St.Thomas ON.
20 October 1979 was an autumn Saturday; this could be morning before rides begin.
#1 is in steam, with 2 children visible in the cab.
#2 named "Pioneer" is non-operational this day, with its left-side rods and smoke box door off.
The engines were acquired from the Huntsville and Lake of Bays portage railway after it closed down in 1959.They were later re-sold, returning to Huntsville in the late 1990's.

  1. I don’t think many OSR fans know this is the ancestral birthplace of both OSR and PSTR… and many other rail preservation groups from the St. Thomas area.
