INCO #121, a 65T electric locomotive, has just brought loads to the CP yard at Levack Station, and is seen bringing empties back to the mine....the route is thru Onaping to Levack mine area. As I was driving up Hwy 144, heading for Cartier, I found this athis was a rather pleasant interruption. The 121 was built in 1955 and served all its life on INCO until retirement in 2000. No idea of where it ended up. Scrapped?

  1. Great photo, I got stopped at that crossing many times waiting for that movement to clear. Cartier was the last stop for gas on the way back to Westree. Great memories. Thanks for sharing.
