GO CEM cab car 340 leads an afternoon Milton line train through the curve at West Toronto. This shot is a bit of a rare sight as the track the GO is using in this image is normally only utilized by CP trains working the east end of Lambton Yard who use it for headroom. This day however, track work was happening on the track GO normally uses (seen on the right side of the image) so they were forced onto the second track. It made foe a much nicer shot as I was able to get the entire train in the frame as well as the CN Tower.

  1. Well, at least I know I don’t need my eyes checked.

  2. @Driver8666 Thank you! Yes, those are 2 birds hanging out on top of the searchlight. I’m aware that the track has been used for things before, I meant that it doesn’t see regular usage aside from yard headroom. :)

  3. They’ve used that track before, when trains were detoured over Canpa when they replaced that bridge.

Nice pic! Are those 2 birds on the signal at the top?
