Photographing 435 with a QNSL I ended up at Aldershot station as they worked. The motive power for this train was 5474, GECX 7362, 5467 and QNSL 310 (Which in 2020 seems like a pipe dream), and since it's 7:30 PM in Spring the light is already nice and golden. What an opportunity. Has 310 come back from rebuild yet? While I enjoy shiny rebuilt units, there's something to say about a tired, gritty workhorse going to the spa.

  1. Turns out I shot 310/315 11 months later in Hamilton, all shiny and new. A few minor detail changes, such as thinner cab numbers the bell cover removed.
