Deep in the heart of the industrial area of Sarnia, the weekend yard job is returning north to home base after finishing work for the day, passing under the usual gaggle of industrial overhead pipelines. At right in a cut of cars is the Operation RedBlock caboose (900074), one of two (900032 in Chessie paint being the other) that were assigned to Sarnia for a couple decades used for any jobs that have long reversing moves. Within a year these two would be collected by the station and sold to the Lake State Railway who have them now and IIRC have since repainted them. Amazing that CSX hangs on to this isolated patch after all this time.

  1. If you ask my opinion on it, probably because it’s chemical rich.

Also probably in Jacksonville’s eyes, turns a profit.
