It is often hard to believe how quickly locations fill in and disappear. This was a spot that I spent a lot of time at in the early 2000's but it has been a long time since I have hiked in. Today after missing CN 149 at Bayview I thought I'd try this old spot on Brantford's east end, only to find it is now completely grown in. Nevertheless I was pretty happy with the end result as CN 149 rounded the bend past the burnt autumn colours. I've always had a thing for these old LMS Dash-8's so catching one solo on 149 was a no brainer.

  1. Nice shot. Never been a fan of these old LMS units to operate. I wonder if they are on borrowed time?

  2. Wow this is a good photo. It just came up on the “one of best images” bar, it looks good even as a thumbnail. :-)
