I don't spend the time I used to on the Hamilton subdivision but usually when I do the scenery typically impresses me more then the train itself. It is amazing how the higher elevation on top of the Niagara Escarpment can create much different photos then those at the bottom. While chasing a very short 247 from Hamilton I got word that one of CN's IC "Blue Devil" Dash-8's was in the consist. Unfortunately it was dropped at Lambton, but the lead unit here could almost pass for an IC unit, LOL! While the snow cover was very little in Hamilton, the scene here near Guelph Junction was much more impressive.
