After coming down on a 420 the previous day and then being dropped here by CP 246-02, CN/IC C40-8W #2466 idles just east of the Lambton Yard Office coupled to a sizeable cut of cars which were also dropped off by 246. It was left here for pickup later on by L549 in the dead of night (which turned out to actually have CN 7600 on it according to a friend who saw it). A cool catch this was for sure!

  1. Devil With a Blue Dress On, oh wait, that’s a song. Ooops. :-)
Nice shot Liam, with so many of the others going, can’t be much longer for these.

  2. Why was it on CP tracks? Would have liked to have seen it. We don’t get much CN activity here in The Junction unless we set out in the dead of night.

  3. It came in the day before on CP 420

  4. I know @IsaacBryson, it says that in the caption. I’m wondering why it was on CN tracks. Thanks!
