First shot of 2021 and it's a little 'heritage' of a different color. NS 8103, the 'Norfolk and Western' heritage unit, leads CP train #244 through Belle River, Ontario today. Within eyesight of this spot is the now VIA Chatham Subdivision where N&W F and GP units in this very color scheme roamed when I was but a young boy. This is the second time I've seen this unit, the first back in 2012 in West Virginia while trailing the Pennsylvania HU. Great way to start off 2021, and hopefully this is a sign of a good year to come overall......
