During the first couple months of the Goderich-Exeter Railway takeover of the CN Guelph Subdivision and related trackage, power-short GEXR had leased CN 9633, CN 9643 and CN 9661. On an early winter morning, all three CN units are seen along with NECR 9539 and GEXR 4046 in front of the Kitchener station along with GEXR's recently acquired former CN caboose.
