I have always love the New England railways, especially prior to Guilford. Unfortunately as a kid I never took any photos on any family trips. When Guilford returned a number of ex B&M GP40-2's to their leasing company at least one remained in B&M blue. As luck would have it CP picked up a number of them from Helm leasing in the late 1990's, and 4657 arrived in well weathered B&M blue. Unfortunately it did not last long and I only caught it one in its old blue paint before receiving fresh CP paint. Back then both industries north of highway 401 received rail service, and the warehouse on the east side of the line had a decent grade on it, as can be seen here as GP40-2 4657 hauls a cut of cars up the grade. The boxcar to the right is one of CP's former PL&E 50 footers once so common. Today the warehouse has been sold and while the rails remain it no longer receives rail service and by years end the OBRY will likely no longer pass by here either.
