Dull day enlightenment.... Had heard that CP 244 had a solo BNSF GE on it, but it was an ugly morning, so I wasn't thinking it would be worth the time. About 10 minutes before 244 arrived in Belle River to meet westbound CP train #141, I got a report that BNSF 6179 was the lone unit on 244.... Wait... That's a 'sticker' unit... So I decided that despite it being an ugly day, it might be worth heading out for a few minutes. So here you see BNSF 6179, the 25th Anniversary unit, as it approaches Strong Road just east of Belle River, Ontario after having waited for 141 to pass. Funny what can brighten up a dull day sometimes.......
