The first train to the south end of Tilsonburg since April 2020 is seen arriving in town about to cross Highway 19/Vienna Road as it enters the Tilsonburg Yard.  It will tie down just east of the crossing.

  2. Good to know. How much of the line are they working?

  3. Not certain guys. Some others here likely have more info. Seems they’ll work the entire line St. Thomas to Courtland dependent on customers but we don’t know yet.

  4. Ethanol in Aylmer. Car storage will be big. No customers left in Courtland unless Townsend Lumber takes the odd car off the main again – they were never a real traffic generator though.

  5. Thanks James…interesting about the car storage…it seems to be a real problem these days as yards were ripped out at a furious pace

  6. The interesting thing to watch will be what, if anything, happens in Tillsonburg where Future used to take cars.

  7. When I was at IGPC in Aylmer their yard was plugged with tank cars. 2010 think.

  8. Courtland is not on the table at this time but it remains an option should a customer wish to ship there.
