CPR S3 6549 sits at Lambton roundhouse outside the motive power office building (note bay window), which housed the “General Locomotive Foreman, the Shop Foreman, Boiler Foreman, the crew clerks,” and various other positions. It also contained a booking-in room for engine crews. The smokestack at right is attached to the boiler room off the machine shop.
