CNR really should start running either 6060 or another classic steam loco again. It’s not like they can’t afford it, and the public relations coup is huge.

Unfortunately- PR is one thing,,,,but profit is the only thing.! I think it will have to be a private venture in this day and age of tariffs and threatening former friends.
