Reg Button was out of his usual Hamilton stomping grounds today: staked out north of Toronto on the southern border of Vaughan to catch this CP freight heading northbound up the MacTier Subdivision. CP SD40-2 6016, M636 4720, C424's 4222, 4237 & 4227 lead with Delaware & Hudson GP39-2's 7603 and 7601 trailing (no doubt the prize Reg was after), curving north about to duck under CN's Halton Subdivision after crossing Islington Avenue in the background (north of CP "Emery"). Both D&H units (originally build for the Reading RR) may have been heading west for overhaul by CP and renumbering to D&H 7403 and 7401.

Today this scene is quite grown in, and the old golf course land on the right is under redevelopment. The old LiftKing forklift factory, landscaping nursery, and banquet hall in the background remain however, as does the grade crossing and single track mainline.
