While the original group of AC4400’s spelled the gradual end of most of the SD40 fleet it is amazing that this group has already been rebuilt and renumbered bringing an end to the “Dual Flag” paint on GE’s. This was one of the few that was repainted into the new “Beaver” scheme prior to being rebuilt and repainted again. Here 9523 is seen running as light power to Toronto at Meadowvale.
