The shadow of VIA 693 'The Hudson Bay' blankets the ground where the station track at the Dauphin, MB station once ran. Sitting on the mainline where the CN Gladstone Sub. ends and the CN Togo Sub. begins, the VIA Service Manager has opened up the vestibule doors and allowed those interested passengers to detrain and walk around for a few minutes. Cold temperatures, clear blue skies, and lots of sunshine would be the daily weather for my next five days on this wonderful winter journey from Winnipeg to Churchill to The Pas, and back to Winnipeg.

  1. Beautiful station.

  2. It sure is! The cornerstone at the top center peak of the station reads: CNR 1912

  3. A great looking station. The sun and shadow are well balanced.

  4. You didn’t get the bench in your shot :)

  5. Hi Jacob. ‘The Bench’ just might appear in a future post! :-)
