Yes, this is before the formation of VIA.  Back when there really was decent passenger service (compared to today),  a quartet of Budds are Toronto bound from Niagara Falls on a hazy mid-afternoon. View is from the Waterdown Rd bridge, and that is part of the old Aldershot Cold Storage plant in the background.
I'm surprised this 'non-Kodak' slide held up after all these years. Slide is stamped "Pakon". I don't recall anything by that name............
