  1. Sad it was destroyed in a grade crossing accident hitting a truck carrying large castings.

  2. No, that was 71 that was destroyed in the grade crossing accident at Webber Rd. THB 72 soldiered on to become CP 1682 until retirement in the 2010′s (exact date I don’t recall)

  3. Homerjay is correct. I actually met the engineer who was on 71 during the collision.
    He was busted up pretty seriously and I don’t think he ever got back in the cab!
