Over a year ago now, these BNSF units created quite the stir when they were borrowed from BNSF. For a long while, BNSF 2090 and BNSF 2926 were paired up with a CN in third for use on 568. Unfortunately, I missed the few times the 2926 led on CN in/around Kitchener. It happened only in late January 2024 and just a few times (of course I was away). Then never again. There was one day in mid-May where 2090 died and everyone was hoping the 2926 would finally lead... Nope. 2090 still led isolated with 2926 and another CN providing the power. The 2090 was still cool to shoot, as with 2317 which was around last summer. Now these are getting patched up by CN and re-numbered with basically all their visual integrity gone. Anyone have any updates on the 2098? Last I heard it was at Mac Yard still.
