The engineer aboard Toronto - North Bay train 459 is in the process of getting his orders from the operator at Don station, having just hooked his arm through the bamboo hoop.

Following shortly behind is Mimico - Capreol 409, and 452's counterpart, North Bay - Toronto 452, having met both trains during its journey.

    “The last passenger train, no. 388 to Peterborough, stopped at Don Station on April 27th, 1968. The only passengers to get off were two railway enthusiasts who boarded the train at Union Station.”
