Caption: After arriving north from further down the line, CP GP38-2's 4522 (a former UP GP40X) and 3055 run around their train on the service track in the North York area of Toronto at Emery, preparing to start switching local industries. They're seen passing by the Gerdau Metals Recycling yard at Weston Road and Fenmar (that may have originally been H. Solman & Sons in the late 70's), where no shortage of scrap automobiles, trucks, trailers, bins and any other metal object of value gets cut up, crushed, processed, sorted and shipped out for recycling. A siding into the yard lets CP spot and lift gondolas inside for scrap metal loading.
For those wondering about the background, beyond the industrial area, all the apartment buildings shown line Jane Street from Steeles all the way down to Finch. At the far right, one can see the Highway 400 overpass at Finch Avenue.
