Caption: Rumbling south in traffic on Bathurst Street, TTC PCC 4392 (A6-class, CC&F 1948) heads past some of the local banks, restaurants and dry cleaning shops just past Bloor Street on a southbound 511 Bathurst run for Exhibition Loop. Important institutions like banks often had corner branches at many of the major intersections in the city, competing with each other for business. CIBC resides at the northeast corner here, and TD opposite to the southeast. Note the Brewer's Retail (The Beer Store) delivery van in the distance, and the northbound CLRV about to enter Bathurst Subway Station.
